A "curricular club" or "curriculum related student group" is a high school club that "directly relates to a school's curriculum if the subject matter of the group is actually taught, or will soon be taught, in a regularly offered course; if the subject matter of the group concerns the body of courses as a whole; if participation in the group is required for a particular course; or if participation in the group results in academic credit."[1]

Curricular clubs in public schools enjoy publicity rights, such as access to the school PA system and yearbook and the right to hold field trips. This is in contrast with a non-curricular club, which do not enjoy these rights.

This is of significance to the controversy over allowing homosexual clubs in public schools and, if allowed under the Equal Access Act, what publicity rights those clubs shall have.
