Crozet Islands

The Crozet Islands are an archipelago in the Southern Indian Ocean, roughly equidistant (2500 miles) between South Africa, Antarctica and Australia. They belong to France and are the location of the TAAF (Terres australes et antarctiques francaises) scientific research station, Alfred Faure. They are home to a variety of seabirds including Albatross and King Penguins.
