Corsicana, Texas

Corsicana is a city in Texas, southeast of Dallas.

Crude oil in commercial paying quantities was first discovered in the area in 1895, the first such find in Texas (which is legendary for oil and gas production).

It is best known as the home of Collin Street Bakery, known for its production of fruitcakes which have been sold worldwide and to many famous individuals.
