Conservative quotes in Bible are quotes from the Bible that are particularly conservative, or often quoted to make a conservative point.

Here is a growing list:

  • "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 (ESV)[1]
  • "but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 [2]
  • "let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1
  • "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13
  • "Christ ... sent me [Paul] to preach the gospel, but not with the kind of liberal claptrap that would make Christ's sacrifice ineffectual." 1 Corinthians 1:17.
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise,

but the companion of fools will suffer harm.

Proverbs 13:20
  • "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
  • "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." Ephesians 6:10 (ESV)
  • "Strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Hebrews 5:14
