Conservapedia talk:AFD My Neighbor Totoro

Agree

I disagree. You can hardly call Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki 'not notable', even if you aren't aware of their impact. To target one anime film for deletion, means you might as well target all of them on here, plus all other TV shows (because some will be 'not notable' to some people). If anything, mark it as a "stub" for further expansion, but don't delete things you aren't interested in, or know nothing about. Onegai. --JessicaT_{Ohayo gozaimasu!} 13:59, 15 July 2008 (EDT)

... and the nays have it! Don't worry, Jessica, Totoro will never be deleted as long as *I* am a sysop here. My oldest daughter watched it at least 1,000 times when she was a baby; I myself have all but memorized it. (I love the theme song: "Then we'll be with Tott-toro, tott TOH ro ...!!") the little crabs ... the chibi totoro ... the cat bus ... Mei snuggling into big Totoro's tummy ... Totoro with a serious yet amusing expression on his face while holding an umbrella at the bus stop (it never ends) --Ed Poor ^Talk 14:08, 15 July 2008 (EDT)
