Cleansing the Temple

Cleansing the Temple is an event described in all four Gospels: Matthew 21:12-17 , Mark 11:15-19 , Luke 19:45-48 , and John 2:13:16 . Notably, the objection in the Gospel of John is not to anything dishonest or fraudulent, but merely to having a marketplace in the Temple.
