Chromatin

Clusters of DNA and proteins in the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell. Ιn some species of yeast and protozoa chromatin exists as interlocked rings known as maxicircles. Τhis organization is analogous to the banding patterns seen in animal chromosomes.
