Christmas Wrapping

Christmas Wrapping is a popular song by the all-female group The Waitresses.

A humorous take on Christmas, the protagonist has vowed to spend it alone this year. Her reason is her inability to reconnect with a man she had met at a New Year's party earlier that year, but all attempts throughout the past year failed.

On Christmas Eve, as she's finishing cooking "the world's smallest turkey" (courtesy of A&P), she realizes she forgot to purchase cranberries. She runs to the only all-night convenience store, where she meets the man, who had also forgotten to purchase cranberries, and realized that it was meant for them to meet at that time.
