Cheers is an American television series that ran from 1982 to 1993.[1] and earned the highest annual Nielsen rating of any television show.[2] The show is set at a bar in Boston operated by one Sam Malone, a former baseball player. The show was filmed at a bar in Boston of the same name.[3]
It gained a spinoff for one of the characters, the psychiatrist Frasier Crane, in the form of Frasier.
