Catfish Hunter

Jim "Catfish" Hunter was an American Major League Baseball pitcher. He pitched for fourteen seasons, first for the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics and then for the New York Yankees. In his career he had six World Series appearances, playing on five World Series winning teams.

When he was nominated to the Hall of Fame, because he had good relations with both teams and their owners, he elected not to slight either team; thus, his commemorative plaque - which would feature a player wearing a baseball cap - does not feature either team's logo.
