It may be useful to change this category to something like "NATO members during the Cold War" or "NATO members as of 1989"? The current membership list includes:
- Bulgaria
- Czech Republic
- Estonia
- Hungary
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Romania
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
Including those in the list is accurate and useful to understanding NATO as it currently exists, but makes a comparison of the cold-war-era NATO with the Warsaw Pact very confusing. --Jtl 16:25, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
