COBE

The COBE is the acronym for the cosmic background radiation explorer. It was designed to give precision measures of the cosmic microwave background radiation. COBE found that the wavelength distribution of the cmb radiation precisely matched that of a perfect blackbody spectrum, exactly as predicted by the Big Bang theory.
