Blue Origin is a spaceflight company dedicated to space tourism led by Jeff Bezos and Rob Meyerson. It's goal is to get tourists into suborbital space with the New Shepard launch vehicle and later also into orbit with the New Glenn.

New Shepard made its first test flight to the edge of space on July 20, 2021 (not coincidentally that is the date that Apollo 11 landed on the Moon) with Bezos, his brother Mark, Wally Funk (an 82-year-old woman from Texas who applied to be an astronaut in the early days of NASA but was turned down; she became the oldest person to fly into near space) and Oliver Daemen from The Netherlands (the first paying customer, courtesy of an anonymous online auction winner who gave him the opportunity; at age 18 he became the youngest person to fly into near space).

The company also aims for circumlunar touristic flights one day, with another spacecraft.
