Bible translation committees

Bible translation committees are almost entirely stacked with liberal professors whose day jobs are in a culture of liberal style and liberal denial. As a result, liberal denial creeps into the translations, and even outright liberal forgeries of a few passages are allowed to continue in modern English translations of the Bible.

These committees are overwhelmingly stacked with professors who are unable or unwilling to recognize distortions by liberals of key phrases in the New Testament. Critics of the liberal agenda are excluded from these committees. People with a STEM background are also excluded.

The New American Standard Bible, as published by the Lockman Foundation, has pushed to include new references to women in italics.

Academic bias

Bible translation committees have an academic institutional bias. Characteristics of this bias include:

• preferring emasculation rather than the masculine;
• a pedantic insistence on consistency rather than precision or fullness, thereby running afoul of Ralph Waldo Emerson's famous criticism of professors: “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines";

• an example of this is the insistence by most professors today to mistranslate as "chains fell off his hands" (rather than wrists) at Acts 12:7 to be consistent but incorrect as the Greek term meant either hands or wrists;

• an exclusion of insights from STEM fields, or nearly any field other than that of the professor himself;
• an exclusion of archeologists and physicians who would have insight on certain key biblical events, such as the Crucifixion;
• an unjustified disdain for those not formerly educated for years after high school or college;
• refusal to translate candidly verses that criticize intellectualism, such as 1Corinthians 1:17 ; and
• a conformance to political correctness.
