Part of the Trochilidae family, the Amethyst-throated Hummingbird, or the Lampornis amethystinus, is a species of hummingbird. Its natural habitat is the tropical or subtropical mountains. It is usually found in Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Honduras.
