American Graffiti

American Graffiti (1973) was one the best and most influential movies ever, and yet received no Oscars amid 5 nonimations. It is one of biggest successes for a low-budget movie ever, grossing more than $200 million in revenue on production costs of less than $1 million.

This movie spawned more future stars than perhaps any other film. Yet it is also an example of a worst liberal snub.

There are many conservative themes and gentle mocker of liberal behavior in this movie, including:

  • the occasional drag racer (John Milner) accepting defeat rather than trying to outdo a dangerous rival
