The American Committee on United Europe (ACUE) was an American foundation which has the task to counter the communist imperialism from the Soviet Union after World War II, it was founded in 1948 and it's first chairman was William J. Donovan a member of the Republican Party, it was created after a request by people like Winston Churchill and Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi and was financed by the CIA, the intention was to promote European integration, the European Economic Community and to keep Marxism-Leninism outside the boundaries.
