Israel controversy

There have been much criticism of Aftonbladet, most notably about their coverage of Israel. The newspaper has been accused of being overly critical to the nation, even bordering on antisemitism.

In August 2009, Aftonbladet published an article claiming that in 1992 the Israeli Defense Force illegally harvested organs from killed Palestinians. This caused much controversy, creating a diplomatic rift between Sweden and Israel.[1]
