Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam (also rendered in some cases as Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam; in Latin the "j" functions as an "i") is a Latin phrase meaning "For the Greater Glory of God".

It is a phrase commonly used as the motto of Catholic institutions (notably those associated with the Jesuits); however, interestingly it is also the motto for the Southern Baptist-affiliated Prestonwood Christian Academy.
