Yvette D. Clarke is the Democratic party representative from New York's 9th Congressional District in the U.S. House. Clarke is a member of the totalitarian-oriented Congressional Progressive Caucus and is a co-sponsor of the communist Green New Deal and Medicare for All bills.

In the 2020 Democratic primaries Clarke was accused of darkening the skin of primary challenger Adem Bunkeddeko in a mailing.

"As Democrats, we are supposed to be the party of equality, truth, and facts. But instead, Ms. Clarke puts out a racist mailer that clearly darkens my skin. This is despicable. She needs to apologize to me and every single one of her constituents."[1]

Abolish ICE

On July 12, 2018 Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) introduced H.R. 6361, in the House to abolish ICE. Eight House Democrats signed on as cosponsors: Pramila Jayapal and D. Adam Smith of Washington; Adriano Espaillat, José Serrano, Nydia Velázquez, and Yvette Clarke, all from New York; Earl Blumenauer of Oregon; and James McGovern of Massachusetts. Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, and other Democrats all rallied behind the “Abolish ICE” banner.
