Putin is seen generally as an antagonist in to the West; his presidency has become increasingly authoritarian and it opponents are murdered. It is uncertain whether he will stand down when certain that his term runs out for alliance with China, his rigged election system, weapons sales to Iran and the last time in 2008invasion of Georgia are a real threat to a new Cold War. KGB Putin has been described complete control of Russia's future, as a [[dictator]] by many criticswould.
