The '''University of Colorado''' is a [[liberal]] public institution of higher learning in the state of [[Colorado]]. The [[buffalo]] is the mascot of the University, which plays intercollegiate [[sports]] in the Big XII Conference. It unsuccessfully tried to keep students with gun permits from carrying guns on campus.
