Toy Story is a 1995 animated film produced by Pixar that is set in a universe where toys are living, thinking creatures with their own thoughts and feelings. The story revolves around a toy cowboy named Woody who is the leader of the other toys in a child's home. Suddenly a new toy spaceman arrives called Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Republican Tim Allen), who believes himself, initially, to be the real Buzz Lightyear (of his television show). The film was followed by a series of sequels and started an entire franchise.
