Sin denial

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by DouglasA (Talk | contribs) at 19:35, July 26, 2009. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Sin denial is a claim made (typically within Christianity) that a given behavior or action is not sinful, despite the Bible establishing that it is so.

Sin denial is particularly widespread among liberal Christians and indicative of cafeteria Christianity, and includes enabling homosexuality, abortion, premarital cohabitation and sex, and countless other forms of moral relativism. It is closely linked to the claims that Hell does not exist and God will not punish unbelievers and the unfaithful.
