Misuse of science

No change in size, 15:30, October 17, 2010
The misuse of science has become a big issue since the early 20th century when social activists took some of Darwin's ideas as the basis for Social Darwinism and Eugenics. Hannah Arendt and others have commented on the connection between Darwin and Hitler.
Science is the search for what is true about the world; physical science concentrates on the natural world, while anthropology, psychology and the Social social sciences study human beings and how they live and interact. Scientific ideas can be abused when they are taken as justification for evil plans. This abuse generally takes the form of drawing unwarranted conclusions from a theory or observation.
