Jeffrey Zients is a management consultant and [[lobbyist]] recently appointed as Chief Performance Officer, or briefly Government Performance Czar in the administration of [[Barack Hussein Obama]]. His role is to "promote technological innovation in government", though his precise responsibilities in Obama's "shadow government" are, as noted by [[Glenn Beck]], somewhat unclear. Zients was previously the Secretary of Technology in [[Virginia]].
