Francisco Ignacio Madero was president of Mexico from 1911 to 1913 after he successfully ousted dictator Porfirio Diaz. He was murdered in 1913 after "La decena trágica" (the Tragic Ten Days), aged 39; (Victoriano Huerta conspired with Félix Díaz (Porfirio Díaz's nephew), Bernardo Reyes and U. S. Ambassador Henry Lane Wilson, against Madero).
