While Christianity is generally associated with conservatives, there are many liberals who claim to be Christian. However, many liberal values are at odds with biblical principles.
Virtue Signalling
Matthew Chapter 6 is clear about how trying to show off your good deeds in front of others to be seen by them.
Envy
The left constantly promotes a culture of envy of "the 1 percent" but the Bible clearly condemns envy in several places [1]
Sex and Relationships
The Bible is clear that God created sex to be used exclusively in the context between a man and woman in the marriage covenant created by Him in Genesis 2:24. Jesus affirms this when talking about the issue of divorce in Matthew 19. Romans 1:26-27 condemns homosexuality. The Bible also condemns recreational sex,[2] and pre-marital cohabitation.[3]
Abortion
Jeremiah 1:5: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." God states that we are first formed in the womb.
Religious "tolerance"
Exodus 20:2-3 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me." John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." After God the Father declares that He is the only god, Jesus declares that he is the only Way to God the Father and that He Himself is God the Son. There are plenty of other verses that also declare that God is the only god (Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 44:6,8, Deuteronomy 4:35-39, Isaiah 44:5-6, Isaiah 45:21-22, 2 Samuel 7:22, Isaiah 46:9, Isaiah 48:12, Psalm 18:31, 1 Kings 8:60, Psalm 86:10, James 2:19, 1 Timothy 2:5, Hosea 13:4, John 17:3, Galatians 1:6-9). As for Islam, which many liberals claim to be the same god as the God of the Bible, "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!" Galatians 1:8.
