Derbyshire

Derbyshire is a County in the East Midlands of England. The North and Central parts of the County are dominated by the Pennine Hills. Englands oldest National Park, the Peak District lies mainly within this county is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Peak District Towns include, Matlock, Buxton, and Bakewell. The south and east of the County are more industrial and it is here that the main towns and cities of Derbyshire are located, namely the City of Derby, Ilkeston, Ashbourne, Chesterfield and Heanor. Derbyshire Borders with Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
