Socialistic terminology permeates English translations of the Bible, without justification, although this could be said of many segments of the Bible. This improperly encourages the "social justice" movement among Christians. One might argue that social justice is a Christian ideal in spirit, but of course this is subject to personal interpretation

For example, the conservative word "volunteer" is mentioned only once in the [[ESV]], yet the socialistic word "comrade" is used three times, "laborer(s)" is used 13 times, "labored" 15 times, and "fellow" (as in "fellow worker") is used 55 times. It should be noted that these words appeared in the Bible centuries before their use in a Socialist context, and thusly should not be considered blatantly Socialist. It's also important to note that the altruism depicted in the New Testament should not be considered politically motivated for the aforementioned reasons (The context being literally centuries before the writings of Karl Marx were published.)
