/* Implicit Support for Abortion */
Some on the right have falsely accused Donald J. Trump of having a passive, apathetic, or even enthusiastic attitude toward [[Planned Parenthood]] and [[abortion]].<ref>https://www.stridentconservative.com/trumps-supreme-court-supports-abortion-will-never-overturn-roe/</ref><ref>http://prolifeprofiles.com/donald-trump-pro-life-profile</ref>
During the 2015 Republican primary election, establishment conservative [[Ted Cruz]] claimed that Trump would funnel millions of dollars in federal funding to Planned Parenthood.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfzkwISWoWw</ref><ref>https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/02/13/trump_vs_cruz_you_are_the_single_biggest_liar_you_are_probably_worse_than_jeb_bush.html</ref><ref>https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2016/02/13/trump-to-cruz-you-are-the-single-biggest-liar/</ref> Later, the opposite was proven to be the case.<ref>https://www.christianpost.com/news/trump-supports-hr-36-bill-seeking-criminalize-abortion-20-weeks-201476/</ref><ref>https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-abortion-tax-dollar-planned-parenthood</ref><ref>https://www.therebel.media/blazetv-did-trump-just-win-the-fight-against-planned-parenthood-title-x-funding</ref><ref>https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/in-video-donald-trump-supports-thousands-at-anti-abortion-demonstration/story-rELaIsyDLPguFOnxadRSYK.html</ref><ref>https://www.lifenews.com/2019/06/19/president-donald-trump-slams-abortion-every-life-is-sacred-gift-from-god/</ref><ref>https://www.westernjournal.com/trump-vows-veto-pro-abortion-bill-makes-desk/</ref><ref>https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/trump-appoints-pro-life-neurobiologist-maureen-condic-to-national-science-b</ref><ref>https://www.christianheadlines.com/contributors/michael-foust/876-pro-abortion-clinics-have-lost-federal-funding-under-trump-pro-life-rule.html</ref><ref>https://www.sba-list.org/trump-pro-life-wins</ref> In fact, this was disputed even before Cruz made these statements by reports that Trump was pro-life.<ref>https://www.lifenews.com/2015/01/26/donald-trump-on-abortion-im-pro-life/</ref>
Though President Trump is [[libertarian]] rather than socially conservative, there is no evidence that he supports the abortion industry. No statements he has made in public or in private seem to corroborate this. As President, he has not given any money, including taxpayer grants and federal funds, to abortion providers. Not even supposed "whistleblowers" on the Trump Administration have provided anything to support this baseless theory.
