Anglophile

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by KyleDD (Talk | contribs) at 22:17, August 6, 2010. It may differ significantly from current revision.

An Anglophile is someone who loves England and exaggerates its historical significance.

Examples of Anglophilia

  • Insistence that William Shakespeare was the most influential person of the second millennium.
  • Lying about the efficacy of the NHS to save face and promote liberalism.
  • Asserting that British universities are the best because they're old or "popular".
