Transitional form
Transitional Forms - Transitional forms or "Missing Links" are fossils that show a change from one species to another.
Currently many Americans feel that the fossil record contains many gaps [1].
Paleontologists typically reject this claim and some work has been done to provide the general public a better understanding of the complete fossil record. One such attempt is that by Kathleen Hunt who created a Transitional Vertebrate Fossil FAQ [2].
