Dodgeball is a popular movie and sport. Typically played in public school gym classes, there are many variations of dodgeball, but the game usually involves two teams situated on opposite sides of a court. They throw balls at each other. Any person who is hit by a ball is "out." Catching a thrown ball may remove the thrower of that ball instead. The goal is to be the last person standing.
The film Dodgeball was a 2004 comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller as adults playing in a dodgeball tournament.
