Talk:Programming language

Instead of an alphabetical list - which has red links and obscure languages - how about a chronological list of historically important or popular languages? I'd like to see the year released and the name of its creator. --Ed Poor Talk 17:49, 21 March 2010 (EDT)
Name of this article
According to the Manual of style, the name of this article should be 'Programming language' rather than 'Programming Language'. Since there is already a page Programming language, which redirects to this one, how do I get things sorted out? RolandPlankton 11:42, 4 February 2012 (EST)
