Slogan:Global warming is real

The slogan "Global warming is real" is usually an assertion that the earth's atmosphere has heated up significantly due to human activity. This assertion is based on the scientific fact that there has been around 1 degree centigrade of warming since 1850. However, it mixes in a "guess" that most of this warming is due to human activity, which is by no means a consensus position among scientists.
Some laymen argue that if we don't know the natural causes, all warming that can't be accounted for must human-caused. This is fallacious reasoning. One may as well say that after accounting for known social and psychological factors, all discrepancies in IQ scores (between the races) must be genetically caused.
