Wikipedia copyright

Entering information on Wikipedia can interfere with the editor's own reuse of his own material. Wikipedia imposes numerous requirements on the reuse of its material, even reuse by the author. Instead, Wikipedia enforces a communal view of property even on writings of the author himself to the extent they are editing by others. Here are some of the burdensome requirements of the Wikipedia license:[1]
- prohibiting any assertion of private ownership over a derivative work
- imposing 15 different conditions with respect to multiple copying
- requiring detailed attribution
- prohibiting any exceptions for teaching, educational, or noncommercial use
- including a copy of the "copyleft" license in many cases
