The Lawrenceville School is a prep school located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey about midway between Princeton and Trenton. It was founded in 1810[1] putting it among the twenty oldest boarding schools in the United States.[2]
It is famous as the setting for a series of novels by Owen Johnson, loosely known as the loosely as the The Lawrenceville stories, relating student life in Lawrenceville at the end of the 1900s.
