In my high school biology course, the argument that animal fetuses are evidence for common descent was used, but the Haeckel diagrams were not used; actual photos of fetuses were in the book, which indicated the same relationships that Haeckel envisioned. --JohnLee 16:03, 20 November 2010 (EST)
