Joe Sixpack is an expression describing a type of down-to-earth voter who wears a T-shirt, grabs a sixpack of beer, and likes to enjoy watching a ballgame on television on the weekends. He's the opposite of an elitist, fancy-college-graduate liberal.

This expression was more popular in the 1980s than today, but is the type of voter whom Scott Brown appealed to in his stunning upset victory for the U.S. Senate seat previously held by Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts.
