A data structure is a way to organize information on a computer, such as the queue, stack, linked list, heap, dictionary, and tree. Computer science courses teach students how to create and use such structures. Software engineering typically dismiss the coding that supports these structures and concentrates on how to use them.
In Computer science, an ontology refers to a data structure that models a given domain or conceptual space.
