Kitchen

A kitchen is a room in a house, hotel, restaurant or similar premises where food is prepared for consumption. A kitchen on a ship is called a galley.

Prior to the outbreak of the feminism movement of the 1960s, the kitchen was the considered a woman's primary place of occupation. It was her duty to prepare a meal for her husband and children, and served as a place to store cooking and cleaning supplies. As more migrant immigrants entered the country, the liberal media began stressing the importance of eating in restaurants and delis operated by illegal immigrants.

As women began pursuing careers, the kitchen and dining room has been replaced by fast food and television. It is rumored that Obama wants to see the kitchen replaced entirely by government-operated soup kitchens.
