Ronnie Barker

Ronald William George Barker (Bedford, Bedfordshire 25 September 1929 – Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire 3 October 2005) was a English comedian and writer. He is best known for performing alongside Ronnie Corbett in the Two Ronnies as well as starring in two successful sitcoms - Porridge and Open All Hours.

He submitted his own writings to the Two Ronnies anonymously, using the pseudonym Gerald Wiley. He was an avid collector of British sea-side postcards known for their saucy double-entendres.
