Puppet

A puppet is a hand-made figure resembling an animal or person, that is manipulated by the hand, or with sticks, strings or wires to simulate natural movements. It also gives someone an excuse to shove their hand up someone else's butt.
A puppet that fits over the hand (similar to a glove) is known as a "hand puppet" whereas a puppet manipulated by strings can be known as a "marionette". Puppets manipulated by a single finger are known as "finger puppets" and are popular toys for children. The Television show Fingerbobs is an example of finger puppets.
In politics, a puppet is someone who holds a position of power in a government but acts under the orders of person or group who do not hold a position in the government.
