Orthodox Easter is an Orthodox Christian holiday marking the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ as it occurs according to the Julian calendar. As in the Western tradition, Orthodox Easter is always celebrated on a Sunday. It is a movable feast which falls between March 22 and April 25 according to the Julian calendar, or April 4 and May 8 of the Gregorian calendar.
