Vivek Kundra
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Aschlafly (talk | contribs) at 20:35, June 21, 2009. It may differ significantly from current revision.
Vivek Kundra is the first Chief Information Officer of the United States of America, informally referred to as Barack Hussein Obama's Technology Czar. Like many of the other Obama administration "czars", his responsibilities are ill-defined, and he is apparently accountable to no one except the president. However, they are likely to include some degree of involvement with internet policy. Kundra was born in New Delhi, India and immigrated to the United State when he was 11. He previously worked under the administration of Tim Kaine, the governor of Virginia, and, like many other Obama appointees, for Obama's 2007-9 presidential campaign.
