War on Terrorism

The War on Terrorism is a collective term used to refer to several military and political campaigns with the stated goal of "ending international terrorism". In March of 2009 the Obama administration ended their use of the term "Global War on Terror" in favor of the term "Overseas Contingency Operation"[1]
