Astrologists use their knowledge of the relative positions of celestial bodies and related details to understand, interpret, and organize information about personality, human affairs, and other terrestrial matters. A practitioner of astrology is called an astrologer. Astrologer also use the traditional tools of science to show that the scientific evidence is consistent with their understanding and interpretation of the heavens and its effect on human affairs[1].
The Bible[2] makes many references to astrology:
- And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; (Luke 21:25)
- The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, (Psalm 19:1-4)
