1. What was the "Great War," and why was it called that? Who was on each side?

Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Japan and the

United States where the Allies.
and Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and 

the Ottoman empire where the central powers. World war 1 was called the great war because it involved many of the worlds nations and it was the first war with modern technology.


2. Who won World War I? Explain the outcome.

Nobody really won the war but you could say the allies did. it ended the 11th hour of the 11th day

of the 11th month of 1918,Germany had a limit to 

the size their army and had to pay $33, billion and

lost its colones.     


3. Pick your favorite battle of the War and describe it.

I like the battle of Argonne because of the lost battalion

it was the largest entanglement in the war with 26,000 dead
and 100,000 wounded.


4. When, where, why, and by whom did the Communist Revolution occur?

1917, Russia pour economic conditions, oppression by czar,

led by Stalin and Trotsky   


5. Pick an aspect of "Science and Art in the Early 20th Century" and describe it, along with your view.

i think the mass production of cars was an important advance because it

was a easy means of transportation that doesn't require feed/fuel when not 

in use and is easy to drive.


6. Describe a European colony in the 20th century, and what happened to it.
