George Yeardley

Sir George Yeardley (c. 1580 - November 1627) British governor of Virginia from 1619 to 1621.
Yeardley arrived in Virginia in April 1619. At the Virginia Companies direction he alotted land to people who had arrived before the spring of 1616.[1]
